PLEASURE COMMITTEE
QBIPOC Dance Party: Brought to you by Squat

Squat's back in the building. Since bringing BL:SS to ANDTHENYOU, this crew's made it clear they know how to build a room that actually feels good to be in! Playful, moody, and unmistakably queer<3.

Pleasure Committee is exactly what it sounds like: a night centreed on QBIPOC joy on the dance floor, no explanations needed. Expect deep, genre-blurring sounds, and the energy that comes from a crowd who came to actually be there for each other.

This is a safe space for all!! NO HATE NO SHENANIGANS WILL BE TOLERATED. Phones down, dance floor first.

GENRES: DANCE, LEFT FIELD, FEEL GOOD, QBIPOC, BRAVE SPACE

Step into the chaos and glamour of the late-2000s bloghaus era- where gritty dance floors, flash photography, and unapologetic style ruled the night. This night, we’re reviving the soundtrack of an era that blurred the lines between dive bars and fashion week afterparties.

Expect the raw energy of The Strokes, LCD Soundsystem, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Justice, and the deep cuts that defined a generation of indie icons.

Think leather jackets, smudged eyeliner, messy hair, and a camera roll full of flash-lit memories. Whether you were there the first time or you’re discovering the aesthetic for the first time, this is your chance to live it loud, fast, and a little bit unhinged.

COLOURS is back to grace the underground party lair once again! We had SO much fun with them last time around.

Lapelle - Toronto-based, Manchester-born, audio enthusiast and designer - brings controlled chaos to the decks. Deep disco, euphoric '90s house, UK garage, bass, raw techno: his sets dissolve the lines between all of it, big and bold and never linear.

R-Oderick brings the pedigree. JUNO WINNER, a pillar of Toronto's techno and electronic scene, one half of EBONY, his sound runs the full spectrum, from bleak and heavy to soulful, with work on Sonic Groove, Pinkman, Nodding Heads, Jericho One, Forth, R-ZONE, and Opal Tapes.
