“Wax Poetic is back for the seventh time! From humble beginnings in the warmth of 486 Barton, we’re now returning for the third time at Andthenyou. To everyone who came out last time—and there were a lot of you—thank you. It was an incredible night. You made the party, brought the energy, and kept the dance floor moving until the end.

Once again, we’re bringing you nothing but house, all night, only vinyl, strictly rhythm. A limited number of tickets are available online—grab one to guarantee entry to what’s likely to be a sold-out event.

Hiroki is a DJ and producer from Toronto who draws inspiration from countless hours spent dancing and lurking in clubs. Hiroki’s selections include dub, minimal, and leftfield techno oddities with unconventional textures. Leaning into groove and just the right amount of psychedelia, Hiroki creates atmosphere that keeps the floor bouncing.

Dj Miss is a Tkaronto-based DJ. Behind the decks, Dj Miss’ musical selections are wide-ranging. She loves cutie house grooves, pinballing prog, wriggling bass mutations, percussive club tracks, hypnotic downtempo, and emotional oddities. miss also runs the monthly Seesaw mix series, which features up-and-coming local guests.
