Join us on Sunday, August 2 for an evening of live music, poetry, art, and conversation as we come together in support of our Healing Happens Here campaign.

This fundraising showcase brings together local artists who have generously donated their time and talent to help raise awareness and support for culturally responsive, trauma-informed mental health care for youth newcomers, immigrants, refugees, women, and families in our community.

Tarek Funk Band presents Fairuz Jazz Tribute :
Syrian Palestinian MC Multi-instrumentalist and artist Tarek Funk, joined by their talented Band performing a rich Fairuz Jazz Tribute.

Eddie Lartey:
Award-winning spoken word artist and Canadian Slam Poetry Champion Eddie Lartey will share works that explore identity, resilience, love, and hope. His work has captivated audiences across Canada and the world, giving us insight into what it means to touch audiences with poetry.

Paulo Leon:
Published Poet and Local artist Paulo Leon will be performing a selection of Chilean and Latin American folk music, celebrating healing through art.

Available on site will be various Art pieces curated and made by our ABRAR team, proceeds to support our Healing Happens Here Campaign.
